code of conduct
ATTENDANCEAll team members are expected to attend every training unless they have a contagious illness, serious injury, a scheduled exam which clashes with training or are on a pre-planned holiday (with notice given to coaches in advance). Athletes are expected to arrive 5-10 minutes before training begins to ensure enough warm up time and to ensure training commences on time.
|
InjuriesWe take every precaution to limit injuries, but due to the nature of cheerleading they can and do occur. All athletes must obtain compulsory
insurance through the university (SUSF membership). To ensure our coaches are aware of any health conditions or pre-existing injuries, all athletes must fill out and sign a medical waiver form prior to training with USYD Cheer. |
ConductNo alcohol, smoking or drugs are permitted at any USYD training session, competition or event. Failure to comply with this may result in the participating athlete(s) being removed from the club. Team members are representing the University of Sydney and should behave appropriately when representing USYD Cheer at competitions, on social media or when interacting with other clubs
